Global Leadership Academy (K-12)

"Preparing Today's Students for Tomorrow's World"

At Global Leadership Academy, students explore daily lessons through an international lens. Beginning in kindergarten, students delve into international concepts and can graduate knowledgeable in more than one language and culture. As a K-12 school, siblings can share in their educational experiences and families can enjoy the consistency of one school calendar.

Students are taught that great leadership skills begin with themselves, their classrooms and their school community. These skills quickly expand to include their local community, state, nation and global community.

GLA's K-12 art program enhances the school's international focus. Team building activities teach students about leadership, performance and achievement. Positive reinforcement is practiced in every classroom.

Teachers use differentiated instruction to support all learning styles. All K-6 grade students excel in well-executed academic programs in reading, writing, and math. Seventh through 10th graders are placed on a college preparatory track to prepare them for life after high school.

Global students are...

  • Students willing to be successful leaders as well as productive group members.
  • Students who want to learn in a structured environment based on positive reinforcement
  • Students who are focused on being compassionate, courageous, respectful, responsible, trustworthy and scholarly.
  • Students ready for intensive post-graduation programs to prepare for college.
  • Students who want to explore and discover different countries and cultures.
  • Students who want to take advantage of the unique opportunity to learn Chinese and the Chinese culture.
